Today, Congressman Josh Brecheen questioned Democrat witness Mr. Murad Awawdeh of the New York Immigration Coalition and highlighted the insanity of Democrats’ open border policies during a House Homeland Subcommittee on Emergency Management and Technology hearing entitled, “Protecting our Preparedness: Assessing the Impact of the Border Crisis on Emergency Management.”

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Josh Brecheen questioned Democrat witness Mr. Murad Awawdeh of the New York Immigration Coalition and highlighted the insanity of Democrats’ open border policies during a House Homeland Subcommittee on Emergency Management and Technology hearing entitled, “Protecting our Preparedness: Assessing the Impact of the Border Crisis on Emergency Management.”

BRECHEEN: “Do Democrats want to continue our open border policies because they know illegal immigrants will vote for them?”

BRECHEEN: “At what place will you concur that this is insanity? From 1892 to 1954, we had 12 million immigrants come into our country legally. Under this Administration, we have already seen almost that number come into our country illegally in just two and a half years. Are we a nation of laws? Is anybody above the law? Are illegal immigrants above the law?”
