The national debt stands around $38 trillion.

This means that each American taxpayer's share of the national debt is over $230,000, while each citizen, from the moment of birth, owes more than $110,000 to the federal government. Our continuously increasing debt, combined with Congress's penchant for deficit spending, is pushing our nation towards a fiscal collapse that must be averted before it is too late.

While some in DC continue to believe that Congress's role is secure earmarks for their districts, we must remember James Madison's 1794 rebuke to Congress where he stated “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” When Members place their own interests over the well-being of American taxpayers, it shows a disconnect from the Founders' intentions and a disrespect for hard-working Americans. As your Representative, I am committed to helping lead the charge for cutting waste, fraud, and abuse from our annual budgets.

Since joining Congress in 2023, I have voted to reduce spending by over $13.4 trillion. We must get rid of the bloated bureaucracy!

Working in tandem with the House Budget Committee, the House Freedom Caucus, and the Trump Administration, our office has identified a number of areas where woke, wasteful, and weaponized government spending can be minimized to help restore America to fiscal sanity.
