Washington—Today, Congressman Brecheen released a statement opposing the Democrats' alternative measure for keeping the government open.

"Democrats demanding an extra $1.5 trillion to keep the government open is ludicrous. Under this plan, Democrats would remove Medicaid's legal verification status requirement and provide a total of $200 billion hard-earned American tax dollars to subsidizing illegal alien healthcare. We must prioritize Americans over those who have broken the law," said Congressman Josh Brecheen.
