Each spring, a nationwide high school art competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives.  The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation and our District. The 2026 theme for Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District is: “Celebrating 250 Years of America” The competition winners from each District will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.  The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nationwide.  The winner will receive round-trip airfare provided for themselves and one guest to Washington, DC, and two tickets to the winner's reception on June 25, 2026. 

Eligibility
Entries are open to all students in Grades 9-12 in Oklahoma’s 2nd District.  Please view the 2026 Rules and Regulations and 2026 Student Information & Release forms here.

How to Enter  
The submission deadline is 5PM on Friday, April 17, 2026. Submissions may be mailed to or dropped off at our District Office at:
