Washington, D.C. – Congressman Josh Brecheen voted in favor of holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress, which would result in a $10,000 per day fine until he produces the congressionally subpoenaed audio tapes of Robert Hur's interview of President Biden. “Especially following President Biden’s debate performance, the American people deserve to hear what is on these tapes,” said Congressman Josh Brecheen. “Unfortunately, Attorney General Garland is continuing the Biden Administration’s total disregard for the rule of law in defying a congressional subpoena. Holding Garland in inherent contempt of Congress is a necessary step in holding the Biden Administration accountable.” ### |
