Washington, D.C. – Congressman Josh Brecheen voted in favor of H.R. 8580 – Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2025. 

This legislation funds the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and provides the Department of Defense (DoD) with appropriations to fund military construction projects. This legislation provides efficient and effective care to our veterans and also includes significant conservative wins that prevent the advancement of far-Left policies.

Conservative Policy Victories:

  • Sec. 255: Defunds VA’s Reproductive Health Services IFR and abortion services through a medical benefits package or health benefits program
  • Sec. 256: Defunds transgender surgeries 
  •   Sec. 259: Defunds VHA COVID-19 vaccination mandate
