Washington, D.C. – Congressman Josh Brecheen issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 8035 – The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024. “It is irresponsible to send another $60 billion (on top of the $113 billion we have already sent) to fund the war in Ukraine, when our own border remains wide open and our national debt is nearing $35 trillion,” said Congressman Josh Brecheen. Before the vote, Congressman Brecheen appeared on Fox News to discuss his opposition to sending more of our tax dollars to Ukraine without securing our own border. |
