Congressman Josh Brecheen Votes Against Part II of the “Minibus” Spending Bill

Today, Congressman Josh Brecheen voted against H. Res. 1102 - Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Josh Brecheen voted against H. Res. 1102 - Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024.

“I could not vote for this $1.2 trillion spending bill, which confirms a topline spending level that is even $30 billion higher than what we saw under Speaker Pelosi. The bill also includes a total of 1,400 earmarks including those for abortion facilities, ‘LGBTQ Senior Housing’ services, ‘divesting in policing’ (also known as defund the police), and much more. The late Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn once said that earmarks are the gateway drug to corruption and overspending in Washington and he is exactly right,” said Congressman Josh Brecheen

On March 6th, Congressman Brecheen also voted against Part I of the “minibus.”
