Congressman Brecheen's Statement on President Trump's July 7th Executive Order on Green Energy

Washington—Today, Congressman Brecheen released a statement on President Trump's July 7th executive order on green energy.

"So proud of President Trump's Administration in working to fix American energy after the super majority of Americans and members of Congress felt betrayed by Murkowski slipping in a last-minute Senate provision in the OBBB specific to green energy. A major part of the hesitation on the OBBB when it came back to the House 48 hours later was due to Murkowski's inserted change. A few days later, President Trump thankfully issued an executive order to address abuse specific to wind and solar projects.

This Administration is moving the ball forward in alignment with most Americans who are tired of watching their tax dollars subsidize projects that should stand on their own. This deficit driving activity is unfair as it takes from the many to give to the few. I am happy that the White House won't take that for an answer!"
